DUAL DISPLAY FOR PREMIERE - 4X3 or 16X9?

Hello.
I have an PC for edit with Premiere Pro CS3, video card ATI X1600XT, edit card BLACKMAGIC Intensity Pro. I'm using an single lcd 4x3 17 inch display and i want to use an DUAL DISPLAY (with vga / dvi connections). (The third display will be an 26" lcd tv with HDMI for timeline video preview).

The question: For edit, its better use 2 4x3 DISPLAY or 2 16X9 DISPLAY?? Thanks! :)

The more real estate, the better. I have two 19" widescreen monitors and it works for me. Previous kit included dual 17" 4:3 monitors and I like the new setup better.

I shoot everything in HD 16:9 so that fits the layout of the monitor for the program and clip monitor windows. That configuration also lets me use one of those PC monitors as the video out and that's come in handy a few times.

For me, 16:9 works very well for me.

Basically whichever you will be shooting the most. Personally, I like 16:9, and it looks more professional.

But i thinking about height... I will have a good width in 2 x 4x3 and the benefits of the more height using 2...

I will have also an 16x9 26"lcd tv, so for review and other things, i put on that screen.

If you want more height then just flip the 16x9 display.... that way youll actually get a very high 4x3 if you need it and you can flip the screen(s) to get 16x9.......
