Info about playback framerate

Hi all,

Both Vegas and AE display the playback framerate, which is very handy info when you can't achieve realtime timeline playback.

Is this possible in PP?

thanks.

I don't think so.

I can't speak to Vegas, but AE will play every frame as best it can. However PP will skip over frames when it cannot keep up. So what PP shows you is as close to a real time playback as it can provide. So for NTSC video, PP will play back video at a "cadence" of 30fps even if it has to drop a few frames or more along the way. There is no setting that I know of to require PP to play every frame, even if it's not playing in real time.
