CS4.2 updates are ready

I ran into the Premiere Pro and AME 4.2 updates tonight around 2am eastern time; I know they weren't there around midnight, so I'm thinking they just put them up...175mb for the two files, will be looking for what's new but now it's beddie-bye time, I'll report in the morning.../Battle Vaughan

Downloaded and Updated to 4.2 but didnt have time to test it.

All I could see was some presets for AVC-Ultra

Yes, David, nothing jumps out at me as an obvious upgrade...I guess the changes are pretty much under the hood....the avc-i setup is the only addition I spotted, although the export window seems to jump up more quickly. Maybe it's a quirk of my system, but the ftp function on the export window still doesn't work...not that that's a big deal...otherwise, I'm still looking..../BV

Well I've been used it for a couple of hours after work and it does seem to be a little quicker. Seems it is using more RAM that before.

More ram? Mine has a memory leak at best, and keeps the premiere service active after you close the program....at least, I have caught it doing so....upgrade or a step backward? /bv

Eric, is there some trick to using it that I am missing? My normal FTP client (WSFTP Pro) hooks up to the office instantly, but I have never been able to connect thru Premire, it always says it can't connect or that the file is too large (and I am making tiny test files). I have been over my firewall settings to see if they're cutting Premiere out, but I don't think so....didn't work in Vista, not working in Win7....what's the secret??? /BV
