General Editing Question on Premiere Pro

Hi, Gang! Here's a question that may be rudimentary to some, but I'm struggling, so here goes: Using Premiere Pro CS3, how do you combine sequences so that they run back to back in my ulitmate output (most likely DVD) I'm editing a heritage video (aunt's 90th birthday!) and want to have the first section the "highlights" of the day, with the second section a "long form" of the event. Do I have to nest the sequences to do this? What is the proper way?

Thanks to all who respond!

You could nest one of the sequences, yes...

But it sounds as if these might be nice to have on your DVD as two choices... In which case, you could export each as it's own MPEG2 file (or you could bring in each sequence to Encore separately...I think...I can't remember anything prior to CS4 now as I'm getting old...)

You could make them accessible separately, or have a choice called "play all" and then have the end action for the first segment be to play the second segment. (I recommend a fade to black at the end of the first and beginning of the second segments as the switchover won't be as obvious...)
