Premiere CS5 - Seperating Left and Right Audio Channels

Hey Guys,
Really need help, I've searched the Adobe site and can't find as well.
i have footage edited ready to go in a Sequence, however what I need to do now is remove the Right channel audio from a Stereo recording. (Left channel was for the external mic and Right channel was the on board mic, which picked up too much environment sounds and i need to remove).
Is there any easy way of doing this without actually breaking out in the Project panel, only to sync up with the video manually?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You can also do
Audo Effects> balance

when recording two completely different sources simultaneously I usually do the following immediately after importing into premiere.

select all clips on which you want to break up the audio channels, right click ¸and select modify -> audio channels. Select mono instead of stereo and you'll automatically get two mono tracks on the timeline instead of one stereo track.

That eliminates the hassle of the fill left/right for every single clip (although you can just c/p the effect and do it very quickly)...

Hi All,
It's Kevin Monahan from Adobe. I work with Premiere Pro Help and Learning, so I'm here to help. Let me know if you have any questions.

There's more information for those wanting to find out more about separating audio channels right in Adobe Help for Premiere Pro. Check these links to read up on the features.
