Output file for Mac
 

I am unfamiliar with a Mac and I was asked to convert some HDV files to something that would be edited on a Mac. I have used H264 in the past but I think too much quality gets lost in the conversion. Would uncompressed Avi be best? I'm hoping for good quality but hopefully not enormous files since I'm going to have to mail them to the person. Thanks. Oh yeah, I shot them in 24p.
