timeline too short for sequence

Production Premium CS5

Client wanted an additional 10 seconds added to vid. I did this in PPro, then ran the old Encore project to make a DVD. I thought dynamic link would take care of it -- but it didn't. Good thing I watched the DVD end-to-end before handing it off!

When I look in Encore's project panel, I see the dynamically linked PPro sequence at the correct length, but the Encore timeline is the same length it was before (which is 10 seconds too short now).

So... how do I lengthen a timeline in Encore CS5? I've read the manuals, searched the 'net, searched Adobe, searched for tutorials... Anyone know how to lengthen a timeline?

I think you're encountering the same problem I just did. Dynamic link won't update if you've already transcoded the Premiere sequence in Encore. In the project window, take a look to see if the linked sequence has been marked "Transcoded." If it is, right-click on it and select "Revert to Original." This restores the link to the sequence in its present form, and will need to be re-transcoded.

Bruce, you need to take the end of the clip and simply extend it. If it snaps, first shorten it, and then extend.
