Premiere 5.0.3 Preview Freeze
 
Have trouble with Adobe Premiere CS5 5.0.3 - When I play the clip in the timeline, the preview will play a few frames, then freeze - any suggestion?

Hard to know where to begin without some details.

Mac or PC? What is the source video? (AVCHD? H.264? MXF? etc.) What are your timeline settings? What are the system specs?

Try this:
Audio playback stops after a few seconds in Soundbooth or Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 or CS5.5 on Mac OS 10.6.x
