Best H.264 workflow?

I love Premier but my H.264 exports leave a lot to be desired. I have tinkered for about as long as I can stand. What would you suggest as a good workflow? I was thinking of converting through quicktime player.

Re: Best H.264 workflow?

I'd love to help you, but you need to be more specific in terms what exactly seems to be the problem, what are your project settings, what codecs are you shooting with, and what are the settings or presets that you encode to H.264, bitrate and resolution being two very important factors.

Re: Best H.264 workflow?

Actually I figured it out. I was exporting quicktime files with H.264 compression and seemed to have missed the H.264 option in the drop down menu where I kept choosing quicktime. I am now exporting very nice looking videos. :)
