Best Monitor for video editing. at DVinfo.net

I now have a Dell 24 inch Monitor which has been working fine for 10 years. I have been thinking about upgrading to a 29 " Monitor for video editing and also occasional Flight Sims. Dell is and outstanding brand but I know there are others out there also. Please give your experience and ideas.

I use a 29 inch ips monitor from LG with a 21:9 aspect ratio (which already has been discontinued) and a 22 inch Eizo in a dual monitor setup when editing but I use the LG for watching movies as well :).
