Cineform AVI's on Mac with Premiere CS6?
 

Hi All,

Just trying to sort out a cross-platform collaboration problem.

Does anybody know if Premiere Pro CS6 on a Mac is able to import Cineform AVI files, if the right codecs are installed?

I've rendered a bunch of timelapses out of AE as Cineform AVI's on a PC, and have been working away with them just fine in Premiere CS6. I've now sent the project file to another editor who has been unable to open them in Premiere on a Mac. Is this going to require me re-encoding the originals to something Mac friendly and re-sending those to him, or should it be possible for him to open them in Premiere on a Mac, after installing the Cineform playback codecs?
