Bad Audio
I'm trying to help a freind edit a project and a lot of the audio is too hot, over modulated, sounds like crap.
I'm not looking for a lesson in correctly recording audio, I am hoping that someone knows of a filter or technique for taking the edge off and hopfully making it sound a bit better. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
Sorry, but as my old computer professor used to say: "Garbage In, Garbage Out".
Once audio is mangled, you're not really going to improve it. You have two choices - try to have the subjects overdub the audio (not easy and usually doesn't work unless they and you know what you're doing) or reshoot the vid. |
Try the "Now Hear This" forum. There are many ways to improve crappy sound, and a certain filter might just help.
It won't be perfect, but improvements can always be made. Mike |
