Dropped Frames Error

for some reason i am getting this error for 6.5. never happened before and nothing has really changed. my hardrives have alot of space. anyone know what i should check? is it definitely matrox related? |

Its normally harddrive related.
Check for defragmentation. Check Drive read and write speeds are fast enough Are you running in raid at all? Maybe a drive has developed errors (run 'chkdsk' on all your drives) Do you have any apps running in the back? i.e. Google desktop search, antivirus etc? Any clues in event viewer?
