XLR Adapter

Anyone have any feedback/experience with this XLR adapter? It's by far the best pricing I've seen.

Just curious.

Sign Video aparently make the XLR Pro units that were sold by Studio One. They apparently were the designers and manufacturers of the product. here's a link to a thread from one of the principles in Sign Video.

These units were highly recomended and considered a very good design

I just bought one. Works great. Built well. I like it for it can be camera mounted and also comes with a belt clip and 1/8" extension cable.

I'm just curious, who much does one of these go for? And, is a Beachteck unit with "phantom power" any better?

The price on that pages says, $99 for a single XLR input, and $149 for the dual. Shipping is $9.

Thanks all. I'm sorry to say I didn't wait around for responses and bought the single adapter anyway! It looks like it should work just fine for me.

Thanks for the feedback.

US pricing is about equal for the Beach and XLR Pro/Studio One. Both units are passive(no amplification) and work identically. Phantom is just a phantom power supply and doesn't directly affect the audio throughput.
