Sennheiser G2 EW100 - XLR cable broke :(
 
I have the G2 Evolution wireless EW100 wireleess lav set, but the XLR adapter broke on my receiver. I could probably fix it.. or make my own replacement, but I was wondering if any of you know where I can find a replacement cable from Sennheiser.

I've looked around, but can't find much info.

Are you talking about the plug, or the cable. If it is the cable, just call BH and get another one. I imagine you're talking about the cable with the screw on portion.

Yeah it's the cable with the screw part. The whole cable has a bad connection and cuts out if I don't hold my head just at the right angle.

I searched their Web site, but didn't find anything. Guess I could try calling :) Thanks!

Two other great sources for you to look for replacement cables are Trew Audio in Nashville (and Toronto) and Coffey Sound in LA.

It's best to call both because their websites don't always list every part especially replacement cables. Glen Trew, also owns Remote Audio, which builds custom cables for just about every thing imaginable. Coffey carries a complete line of R.A. cables, so both are sources for you to look at.

Oh, I didn't realize he owns Remote Audio. Makes sense, considering how much RA stock they carry.

Thanks for the info... I ended up finding the Sennheiser brand on B&H for $50, which I completely overlooked before. I'm going to buy the RA one for $30.
