Does anyone have the Azden WLX-PRO wireless system
 

Thinking about getting it to use in a wedding. I wanted to ask someone if they had it and if there is a lot of "shuffling" sound of the clothes with the clip on mic cord. Is the sound quality ok?

I have had one for about a year. I worked really well in my home, but I have had some static issues in churches. It will sometimes conflict with church systems. Other than the static, it works well. Depending on the amount of static, I usually just use it during the vows. If you can afford more, I would go with a UHF instead of a VHF system. I could only afford the the VHF system.

but you will find several references to it if you search the forums. sounds like a good choice if you are doing home movies but others have reported the occasional loss of sound or interference. I have a 500lts (azden) on order.

I don't recommend this wireless mic system to anyone but home video users.

If you need dropout free, noise free audio, purchase a True-Diversity wireless system that uses switchable UHF frequencies. That means that you will need to spend at least $350 for a system.

Handling noise depends on the mic itself. Cheap systems can't use good mics. Good systems allow for interchangeable mics.

Decent quality, inexpensive, true-diversity, UHF systems are made by most mic manufacturers.

I use two of them with no problems. So Far.
