CS3e and SD302

hi all
i'm the lucky owner of a brand new sanken cs3e shotgun and a sound devices 302 mixer. when booming especially indoor i use to switch the bass cut of the 302. now that i have the sanken i wonder what i have to do with the mic, wich has his own cut switch. shall i use both? the one of the mixer is enough? better to use the one of the mic since it works at the very beginning of the audio path?
thanks a lot

pietro

Definitely use the low cut switch on the mic first. You can double it up with the 302 if you need to in some situations. Careful though. You can overdo it.
