Automatically Reduce BG Audio

Hi!

I remember a thread a while back that talked about ways to have one track automatically raise or reduce it's volume according to input from another track in your audio software. However, I can't seem to find it. Can anyone tell me how to do this in Audition or link me to that thread?

Thanks!

An compressor/expander with a side chain input is the way to do this, I dont know your software package so cant help out more.

Does anyone know if Apple's Soundtrack Pro supports this? Looks like Logic Pro does, but it would be more convenient for me if I could do it in Soundtrack Pro.

Thanks,
Martin
