Studio 1 pointers

I'm having trouble maintaining sound levels on my Studio 1 XLR adapter, connected to my GL2. When I'm shooting, I'm bumping the L and R knobs somehow, giving me varying sound levels.

Does anyone have a trick on how to keep the knobs in place?

I have the same setup, but haven't had any issues. Maybe your knobs are a little looser than mine?

One thing you should definitely do is call Studio1 and ask them about it. They are very helpful and stand behind their products and will offer you suggestions for such a scenario.

Try putting rubber washers or gaskets behind the knobs. You can fund these at any home improvement store etc..

Take the knobs off so your touch doesn't have the leverage.

I don't know if the Studio 1 adapter has split collars on the pots. On such a potentiometer, you can turn a nut to tighten the collar onto the shaft and stiffen or lock the shaft.
