Sennheiser Evolution G2 Series 100 w/l

I very recently had the opportunity to use a client's Sennheiser G2 series belt pack transmitter and camera receiver. I must say, I'm more impressed with the G2 in terms of the supplied mic element's overall quality, compared to the previous model (which I found to be quite thin and trebly).

I'm not suggesting that this system is a replacement for Lectro's and other high end systems but I feel significantly better about recommending the G2 to event and documentary producers with somewhat limited budgets than I did previously. In addition, the display and switchgear is an improvement, in my opinion, over the previous series.
