Sennehiser ME 66 instructions

Just wondered if someone that uses this Mic can help me. There is a switch on the mic and a very small red switch that can be changed with a needle to change the sound. My problem is no ware does it tell you what type of sound your getting.

seems one sound is the same while it records the sound and the other side breaks down when the mic pic's up a sudden sound level.

Is there any help on this ?

Thanks...

It is the Bass Roll Off switch.

If it is the K6 module then you have an on/off switch and the bass roll-off switch (marked with a little horizontal line with a downwards slope on the left hand end. When you select the roll-off position the bottom end is filtered off pretty steeply helping wind noise and handling noise rejection.
