Samson Micro32 Series - any good?

Acquaintence of mine has has two sets of Samson Micro32 Diversity Series UHF wireless for sale and one set includes a hand held mic that come with it.

Does anyone have experience with this equipment and know if this wireless is reliable?

Likely you'll get quite a range of answers to this one. I'll stick to answering your question.

Yes, I've used this wireless system before. Depending upon how much you pay, and your intended use, it may be perfect for you. The times I used the Micro32 system, (weddings) it performed well. I like having 32 channels to choose from, so if something is causing you any interference (PA systems for example) you can change to another channel.

Reliable? I'd say, yes!

BTW, these days I use a Sennheiser G2 system for the grooms mic, and several other methods for ambient/music/etc.

If that's the one with the "rabbit ears" antennae, I used one a few years ago without issue. It was not in a very challenging environment though.
