Okay, which should i get fo rthe gs100?

Should i get the Sennheiser K6/ME64 with a AT8415 shock mount and shoe adapter and a xlr to 1/8th cable, or the Audio Technica ATR55 shotgun AND the Audio Technica ATR25 Stereo mic?

Two AT non xlr mics for cheap or one more expensive Sennheiser?

Actually, thanks to Bryan's suggestion, I went and checked out the little Apex 191 for $110 Canadian. Now I just have to pick up my new M.C. (expired Jan 31st), so that I can order that shock-mount from B&H---in-between visiting granny in the hospital each day. That's what I'm going for, for my small cams.

yeah? The AT's look nice and i've only heard good things about AT, i just haven't found any review on these two.

What's the apex, super? Hyper? Where'd you find it for that price?

The Senn would be nice cause i could use it if i upgrade to a cam with xlr's and it's modular, but even getting both AT's is a lot cheaper.

Between a cardioid and a hyper-cardioid, but slightly more hyper. Long and Macquade (don't know how to spell it). There's one on Granville and 8th---you know, that music shop chain. They sell other Apex mics as well.

She's 96, but improving each day. She's at UBC Hospital. So, I've been very busy this last week and a half.

That music shop is just 1 block north of Broadway. (One block before broadway if your coming from downtown.) Do check it out. It's a good yet inexpensive mic. If you want, I'll post the B&H link of the shock-mount I'll be ordering.

I was thinking about that one but Bryan didn't think that it'd get the k6/me64 out of the frame of the gs100 if i went that way. I think that i'll get the AT8415 with the shoe adapter, that way i can use it for booming too if necessary.
