Sony UWP-C1 Wireless... Any Good???

I was looking at the Sony UWP-C1 wireless lavalier kit. B&H is selling it for $499.95 with a $100 gift certificate. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this setup and if it is any good. Anyone with comments recommendations? I like the fact that the Sony receiver can mount to the camera hotshoe with the included adapter.

If not, what wireless lavalier setup would you recommend in about the same price range? I'm using a PD170.

I have one of those. I can only say good things about it. The included omni capsule is easy to use, the range is good, I have never had RF problems with it. My only trouble has been running out of batteries (especially the receiver) and well the mic itself is not as small as one might want sometimes... but for the price it's terrific.

When you say run out of batteries, do you mean that this unit eats up batteries really quick? What is the usage that you get from a fresh set of batteries?

About 12 hours TX and 8 hours RX I think. It's still usable. Just make sure you have extra batteries somewhere. I guess it would be really cool to power the reciever from the camera's Phantom power but that doesn't happen with this product.
