AKG Blueline has switch on mic

I am working on getting my new Juicedlink and blueline with hyper module working well on my FX1. I am wondering which setting I should use on the microphone switch.

Any suggestions or explanations will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Bill

Itīs either a low cut filter you want to use to cut handling and/or wind noise or a -10db pad you use if you record something pretty loud that would otherwise overload your mic.

In general, I'd say keep that low-cut engaged if you are recording dialog. You'd want to disengage it if you were recording music and had the mic on a mic stand.
