Do I need a shock mount separate from the blimp's?

I plan on buying a blimp/pistol and for my sennheiser 416 and I was wondering if I should just use that pistol mount as my all around shock mount, or if I should have a different shockmount for casual non blimp use indoors like the ktek gps?

Thank you

Well, I'd say it's possible but rather not. If you're really careful, maybe. The 'rubber lip' into which the baskets slide are somewhat fragile and if bent a lot and squeezed a lot its going to get a lot harder to slide the baskets back on. But, if you're really careful......

Any decent blimp will suspend the mic in a shockmount, anyway.
