ATW 100 Power Requirements
Hey Everyone,
I have 2 ATW100's in my field pack and have been running them in various configurations of 12v external or 2 internal 9volts. When using the 2 9volts I noticed the power LED glows brighter and has less interference then when utilizing the the 12v ext. battery. Sooo here's my question... Is the ATW receiver capable of handling a range of voltages (ie: the FP33 mixer can use 12-30volts)? If this is the case I could replace the 12volt battery with a 24volt one and stop going though 9volts like water. -Joe |
From the user manual:
External Power The back panel is equipped with a jack for an external 12-18V DC source, 200 mA nominal current. The jack takes a standard 2.5 mm I.D. coaxial DC power plug, center positive. |
Dean,
Thank you, that will help a lot. I do not have the manual at my disposal and the only markings on the bottom of the pack for power consumption is 12v. -Joe |
I managed to find the manual online and happened to have the PDF in my computer here.
