Very low Hz Rendering.

Is there any software that will let me save my wave as 28hz? Not 28000. Just 28. Yes, it's practically silent, but some of you will know the reasons. The majority of programs I use crash when I try, or auto change it up to 2000Hz. Anyone know of a program that will let me? Thanks.

I just created a 28hz tone in Sound Forge, saved as a .wav at 44.1, saves fine. Practically silent? hardly. Silent. Are you doing some Beta charging?

A 28hz tone is said to be near innaudible and cause nausia. It was used in the movie Irreversible which I just saw.

I'll try creating it and saving it as 44.1. I just havn't figured out how to convert it inside yet. I figured rendering it at that would be the easiest, but most programs can't open a 28hz wav, so I think it will have to be 44.1 with a 28hz tone inside it.

Nothing will open a wav file that is sampled at 28hz. You have two different issues here. One is the sample rate of the audio, the other is the frequency rate of the audio in the file. You should be able to use a 44.1 or 48k sample file in any application, with a 28hz SOUND contained in that file.
So, the audio is a straight 28hz sound, contained in a file that is sampled at 48K/16 or 24bit.
Yes, this sound creates nausea, among other things reactions. It's frequently used for Beta training, as well as memory un-blocking. There are many papers on the psychosis and psychology of sound, many from Albert Wender of the University of Utah, a mental health therapist.
Most audio systems won't be able to reproduce these frequencies at enough SPL to matter. (or be useful)
