SoundForge Pro 10 Released
 

Just FYI for those interested, Sony released SoundForge Pro version 10.0 on Sept 1st. There's special upgrade pricing and other offers until the end of October.

Opinions, please: just looking over the feature list on the Sony website, I don't think I see $250 worth of upgrades from Sound Forge 9; or am I missing somthing? There must be something there to make it worth the price? / Battle Vaughan

Not a lot of changes except for "event based editing" and I'm not sure just what that is. BWF support is improved. They've enhanced the bundled mastering, rate conversion, time stretch, and dithering plugins. Redbook CD mastering is now built-in. But I agree, it appears the changes are evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

There's a special upgrade offer of $149 until the end of October.
