need info on Audio Technica portables... at DVinfo.net

B&H has a few that appear to be slightly different models...does anybody have info on which one I should get for weddings and instructional videos?

Also, they are all mountable...how do they mount? I'm going to be picking up a Sony VX2100 at the same time if that matters.

I used to own the Audio Tecnica U100, I sold it and bought the Sony UWP-C1 system, mainly because it has a show mount for the receiver that allows me to mount to the top of my cameras (pd150). But I have also been pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. I think it is better than the Audio Technica. Plus I don't think the Audio Technica is actually camera mountable (unless you use some third party solution like the bracket1). The sony is considerably lighter and smaller, pluss it uses AA batteries instead of 9V.

Another great thing about the UWP, is that you can use rechargeable AA batteries. I have been going through 100's of AA's per year and I noticed in the manual (or specs.. can't remember where) they referenced using rechargeable AA's. So i gave it a shot. I can get at least 4-5 hours out of a set of AA rechargeables.

My only complaint about the system, is the mic it comes with is fine (I think it is an ECM44), but the cheap lav clip is very fragile. I have broke two of them. I wish they were made of metal instead of plastic.
