wireless mic frequencies

i was looking at the seinheiser evolution series mics and on bhphoto.com they have three different frequencies available, while i was shopping around i found another one on dj mart http://www.djmart.com/seewwisy.html but does not offer different frequencies but does have a plug in for shotgun mics or what not. does it matter what frequency mic i buy.

I have the Sennheiser Evolution 100 G2 with the B freq (616-626 I believe). I think this equates to UHF channels 40, 41, 42. I live in the US as well. I don't know if the other channels are legal or not in the US (I think they are). I would give B&H a call since they would have the info in front of them. They'er very nice to work with.
