NEW "RODE" VIDEOMIC PRO CAMCORDER

Hi

I am about to buy a z1 and have bought a me66 mic and was wondering what would be good for a on camera mic (to replace the built in one) as a general ambient sound mic?
this rode one seems too cheap? £95

I put a video up a number of months back in which I used the Rode videomic. It's a pretty nifty solution. Mono to a mini TRS stereo input is a great idea. Onboard battery, LF filter also work.

It's one of those breakthrough devices. Rode is pretty good at that. I asked them to look at camera stands and mounts, given the cost of them.
