Sound Forge File names on current file dont change on save
 

File names dont change when I Save AS .

All of a sudden, like after lunch. I open a file, edit and save as, and the name doesnt change. Then I close up. Go to explorer, the saved file is there with its saved as name. So I open it.

In the edit window the header shows th ename of the originalfile not the saved as name I opened from explorer into sound forge.

What can I do to fix this??

HP i7 with 9GB ram 3TB of storage.

I don't have the AS version of Sound Forge, but in the Pro version: find "Properties> Summary" delete the text in the "Title" box and leave it blank.The waveform window title bar should now show the file name.
For future "Sony Creative Software" issues you may be better served to see the SCS forums.

Adddendum: The "Properties" information window is normally under the File menu.
On SF Pro 10, it would be under: "View> Metadata>Summary Info"
