Beware using M-Audio Firewire 410 with Mac OSX 10.2 or 10.3

Okay, I just got M-Audio Firewire 410. Driver software said before installing, I should have Mac OS X 10.2 or later. I've got 10.3.4. I figure I'm cool. I install, don't think twice about it. I'm having trouble for a week, can't get it to work, thinking it's something I'm doing wrong. Finally I call M-Audio and they tell me the 410 is no longer supported by 10.3. 10.4 is the earliest version it works with now. So if you have 10.3 or 10.2 or your new Firewire 410 just ain't working, check the driver updates.

Personally, I'd never ship sofware that is labeled "FOR MAC OSX 10.2 and LATER" unless it actually would work with that OS . . . but . . . obvously opinions vary.
