Fitting mains input plug to Sennheiser NT1-1

Hi Guys

Have got a 3 pin mains input plug to attach to a Sennheiser NT1-1 charger. However, there appear to be two small bits of black plastic on the rear of the plug (just above the 'U' where it says U.S. Pat. No. and just above the 'D' where it says D.B. Pat. Nr.) that block the insertion off the green and silver connectors on the charger. Have tried pushing down on the 2 bits of black plastic with a piece of cardboard to see if they drop down, but they seem firmly in place. As a result, I am afraid to press these two firm bits of plastic down on the green and silver connectors for fear of damaging the green and silver connectors.

Is the 3 pin mains input plug defective by having these two small bits of black plastic instead of two little holes that the green and silver connectors could slide into, or should I be using force to push the plug down on the green and silver connectors?

The green and silver connectors and plug holes can be seen in the 2nd and 3rd pictures at:

Warm regards

I presume the UK plug came with the PSU - if so, it should just slot on.

If you bought this separately, then it could be one for a different PSU.

I suggest you ring Sennheiser UK Service Dept. and discuss with Sam Davison, the Service Dept. Supervisor.

Thanks John, appreciate it.

Yeah the plug came with NT1 power supply (same box) and unfortunately doesn't slot on.

Phew, with a little pressure the 2 little plastic bits that blocked the connectors slid aside. Thanks for your input John.
