BiAmped Monitors for iMac?

What is the best device to connect M-Audio BX5 monitors to my Mac? I assume it would have to be a USB or Firewire D/A driver of some sort? Is that a product which integrates inputs and outputs.

Hopefully this isn't too much of a noob question (only used Sony 7506 phones so far).

Thanks.

Nevermind, I figured it out (M-Audio Firewire 410).

Dan,

I just bought a used Tascam USB-122 from a fellow DV-INFO member. I am using it on my Imac G5. Has every type of interface I need and allows for direct monitoring of other stuff plugged into the inputs. The left and right outputs go to my Yamaha near field reference monitors. Has midi, so I can control the softsynths in Garage Band and the effects in Motion. It supplies phantom power for the VO mic I'm using, etc.

More info can be found here.

good luck,

Thanks Greg, I'll check those out. I wasn't even considering Midi, but if it doesn't cost much more, it might be cool. I mess around with guitar from time to time (no threat to the entertainment industry ;^).

Cheers...
