Sennheiser

I know, it's a commercial, but not sure if this would make me buy one :)

My biggest problem with headphones isn't having crisp clarity or bass, most expensive headphones provide those features. It's comfort that I care about the most. I want a pair of headphones that I can wear continuously for 6 hours straight without fatigue.

I've been wearing my Senny HD 280 Pros probably 5-6 hours a day for almost a year, no issues at all.

Note that when brand new, the HD280 Pros can be a tad tight. They are more comfortable after a break-in period. At 5-6 hours per day, a day or two would do it!

More worryingly, I've been happy with my HD 25-1 (II) up to now for many years and have on occasion worn them all day (and sometimes all night) but after that advert I am seeing uncomfortable undertones in the styling (all that black plastic/rubber!). I wish I hadn't watched it now. :-)

Comfort seems to cost more. If you work in a situation in which open-backs are fine, fans of the Sennheiser sound will also love the comfort of the HD650 .
