The needle in a haystack

I've been looking for a dual lav clip that doesn't clip on the wire but to the barrel. I use Sennheiser as well as I wanted to clip a lav for a wav recorder as a back up. I called Sennheiser and they said they didn't have one. BH had some under the clothing thingy from Rhode, which looked interesting, but I was looking for something like you see on network news. I finally found find this, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/815349-REG/Sennheiser_543653_MZQ_22_Double_Tie.html
I hope this helps anyone else looking for one.

I have those clips and while they ain't cheap they work like crazy. I love 'em. It has a clip on the back to make a loop, they look great and have great hold plus you can make it fit left right, up or down.

Virtually every Lav mic make / model is a different diameter so there would have to be so many combinations needed where as the cable clamp setup will fit most mics.

It will sure be nice when everyone just has their own 3D printer, and we can just crank-out one-off like this

Or a set of 10 "one-offs" at the same time when talking about very small items I could easily imagine.

Spares to keep and some to sell.

You are correct my friend, I haven't found the barrel ones. I need a 3d printer and make my own

Sony make a dual clip that fits their ecm 77 mic, we use them all the time here at the BBC in Glasgow.

This will also fit the sennheiser Me2

Yes the sony ECM-77b is still used a great deal in TV, we have double mics on all our live radio mic and interview set-ups.
