ATTN: RODE VIDEOMIC users

would someone mind possibly posting some capture audio, dialogue and/or background sounds captured from the VIDEOMIC. My audio that I've captured sounds a bit grainy and crackly and I need to compare it to something ( I dont think it's the mic, i believe it's the devices that I'm using to capture the a udio from the mic) but nonetheless, I would still appreciate someone else's audio from their VIDEOMIC

Thanks, yea those clips sound very good compared to what I'm hearing from my capture system.

Mark, I saw your other post too. Are you sure the input to the camera isn't overloading? The audio you're describing sounds like clipping. If I were you I'd try a $6.00 headphone volume control from Radio Shack to knock down the mic's signal a little and see.

Click on the Online Archive link in column 2
Open the Video Folder
Download the VideoMic clip

There are some other files in there you might enjoy.
