Audio Technica 2020 vs. M-Audio Luna
I've done all the research I can do without actually trying the microphones (which I can't). I've narrowed it down to two inexpensive condensers. I want the M-Audio because I've read some good reviews, but the AT's price is really tempting.
Has anyone used these mics? Just looking for some last minute feedback before I make my order. |
In their categories, they are both good mics. I'd take the AT, but mostly because I just like their "sound" and they are a mic company. M-Audio certainly has great stuff, but they don't make their own mics, they're jobbered out. AT has great support, which is what attracted me to them in the first place.
my .02 anyway. |
Good advice from Doug. My vote goes to the AT too.
We bought 3 of them a year ago. And they've taken a beating and still sound clean and crisp. A tough mic at a great price. |
Thanks, I just ordered the AT... good point DSE about AT being a mic company and M-Audio "outsourcing" their mic manufacture. I just saved $100 ;)
