wind protection for NTG2

Looking at previous threads this seems to be something that gets discussed fairly regularly, but does anyone have any thoughts/advice on the following. I recently got a Rode NTG2 which I use with a PD170 - it comes with a foam surround but clearly something a little more effective will be needed at times. Does anyone have experience of any of the following and have an opinion: Rode's own Dead cat (retails c £20), Reinhardt Whisper (c £45) or Rycote Softie (c£70). Big price range - I'll be mainly using it inside and out in "normal" circumstances (i.e. not up a mountain). I don't mind spending the extra money if it's worth it.

i´ve got the Rode DeadCat.
Use it on my videomic.

it´s fine and does a decent enough job. You still get SOME windnoise if it´s pretty windy outside.

But it does the job. Fits Videomic, NTG1, NTG2.
