Senn ew100 from DJ's Aux out?

Can I use my Sennheiser EW100 G2 transmitter from the DJ's aux out (either xlr to mono 1/8th or rca stereo to 1/8th mono)? Can I just adjust the sensitivity or will using something other than a mic damage the transmitter?

Thanks guys!

Just got off the phone with sennheiser, they said that would work just fine. This will come in extremely handy at receptions....no more dubbing the music in or having to body mic the Best man for the toast!

Cool. Just bring a roll of gaffer tape and secure it with the antenna facing up or down - not laying flat. If you can keep it line of sight you'll achieve the best results.

Yup, it'll work fine, I've used my XLR plugon transmitter for this before. I'm sure using the bodypack transmitter would work no differently. Just make sure to turn down the sensitivity since you're plugging into a line level signal.
