How to extract AC3 file

Got a question guys. How do I extract from a .vob file, to an ac3 file?

I find the simplest (and cheapest!) way is to use virtualdubmod

Open the vob directly, and then use 'streams' - 'stream list' - 'demux' - save the AC3 track -- done!

DVDxDV is also a very handy program that allows you pull sound and video off dvds. its also not expensive.
