Hmm. My 35fe doesnt look nearly that sharp. Wonder if there is a 35feE

It's interesting that they comment on the problem of specks of dust, as this is something thats always been a problem on 35mm film prints and negative. So maybe it's a 35mm adaptor in more ways than one, not just creating filmic depth of field but also creating filmic dots and marks. If only we could get it to scratch up the videotape and simulate hairs in the gate too it'd be perfect! :)

Plenty of plugins and techniques can achieve this.

I feel, like Paul, that the specks add to the whole 35mm effect :) That's a very thorough review. It's nice to see what others are doing with their setups. Steven's sample footage has always impressed me... that guy does some amazing work.

These shots are mine and I am not using anything special. It is the current shipping version of the FE
