2/3" relay available for Brevis

Looks very interesting but suffers the same problem that the old relays for the Letus HD and Letus XL had 2.5x magnification...I expect the one Dennis himself is making won't have that problem!

They will make versions for all the other adaptors later.

Would love to stick it on my DSR 450 for simple, quick film look for everyday sd projects. But just need it to have no magnification.

I see they don't have any flip module on the picture. You would still need to flip the image on this setup right?

Phil, are they working on one for the JVC HD200/250 cameras, d'you know?

BTW, according to what Dennis told me, his relay lens is at least 4 months away. When are the Letus guys scheduled to release their new HD100 relay lens? Judging from what you've posted of your Letus Extreme, it should quite good quality. Does the new Letus Extreme use a relay with magnification?

The 2,5 magnification is a misunderstanding the relay is 1:1 no magnification no DoF change and no FoV change a 50mm is behaves as a 50mm…

I was trying to describe to Phil the reduction of size from 24mm x 13,5mm for PL mount lenses to the 2/3 sensor which is -2,5x, but this is unrelated with the lens and the ground glass which they retain the full characteristics of the lens as DoF and FoV is concerned.

For 1/3 cameras a JVC ACM-17 2/3-in Lens mount converter can be used along with our relay a flip module and a Brevis35 or a Letus extreme. there is also a 1/2 inche version of the JVC converter.

The relay is for cameras like Cinealta F900R, Varicam, F23 and HPX3000 all these cameras don’t need a flip because they have a scan reverse option, for HPX500 and others yes the flip is needed.

I wanna clarify that the JVC Gy-HD200/250 have an image reverse function too, so no need for flip modules here. So, are you saying that your relay system should produce the same results with a 1/3" camera as with a 2/3" camera(with the 1/3"-->2/3" lens mount adaptor, of course)?
BTW, I find the price is prohibitive for most 35mm adapter users. Something between $1500 to $2500 would make more sense, but $3800...in many cases, that's more expensive than some people's entire setup.
