DOF Lens Adaptor from e-bay: any good?

Has anybody bought one of these lens adaptors before?

It all looks like a pretty good deal and I'm wondering if they're any good...

Why buy that when you can buy the real M2 from redrockmicro.com for not much more!

I'm pretty sure all that eBay thing is the DIY kit from RedRock. I wouldn't do it. I don't think the risk is worth the $50 you save... IMHO. :-D

EDIT: Just saw the eBay deal comes with a followFocus and rails. Still... the RedRock FF is rated one of the best for it's price, so I'd still stick with the real deal. But again, that's just me.

I bought one of those Indian made DOF adapters from ebay. I will post an in-depth review of is soon along with the mods and adjustments I've made to it.

And actually, it is less than half the price of the Red Rock unit when you consider it is shipped complete at that price: Base, rods, follow focus, adapter in your choice of lens mount and 72mm achromat lens.

But let it be said that you get what you pay for and tech support and communications from India can be problematic at times. If I didn't own a precision machine shop and repair tools, I would not have made the purchase.

But all in all, I am pleased at the price and performance.
