35mm dof adapter, focusing question.

I was wondering, since I never had searched about a 35mm dof adapter, if the camcorder loses its autofocus? (I mean, when I install a 35 dof like brevis, do I have to use manual focus?)

Thanks.

using a 35mm adapter will definitely prevent you from being able to use autofocus. you focus on your subject using whatever manual 35mm lens you have mounted on the adapter.
