Apefos 35mm adapter: the same scene with and without Apefos
I did an upgrade in the apefos website with more frame grabs and new video for download. There are some grabs showing the same scene with and without the Apefos to compare the difference in dof and wide angle.
Website: http://www.apefos.com/english/indexenglish.html Same scene with and without Apefos: http://www.apefos.com/entenda/entendaenglish.htm Frame grabs gallery: http://www.apefos.com/galeria/index.html Apefos on vimeo: http://www.vimeo.com/apefos Thanks |

Looks like more of the same to me. I'm sure it will fill a niche if the price is right though.

I dunno - the results look very good to me. I've been trying to eliminate the soft-edge problem. My immediate solution was to crop my HD footage to SD since SD (DVD) is my intended target anyway. Your solution is far better as it bypasses all kinds of problems I will ultimately run into. Well done Adriano!
