Brevis 35 shoulder mount?

I read that they will be coming out with some type of handle/shoulder mount kit soon, but no exact date. What are my other options?

Thanks,

Chad

Chad, our completed handle system is done prototyping and just coming back from powder. We'll have pics up in 2-3 days :-) These can be added to the Proteus rails system meaning current owners will have the complete shoulder rig by just adding the handles.

Cheers,
Dennis Wood

I just bought the cavision shoulder mount & grips from B&H, they seem pretty good but I'll need a couple of days to play before I have a real opinion

Dennis,

Thanks for the update. Will you be at Re:Frame in New Orleans?

Thanks,

Chad, we're the key sponsor of the next Re:Frame with the Stilllmotion crew, Phil Bloom and Jason Magbaunu as the "hired guns".

Btw, those handles are up as of a few minutes ago in our catalog. We'll have a video overview of the entire system in a week or two.

Cheers,
Dennis.

Awesome! I'll be buying those next week. What about a shoulder pad?

Thanks,

Chad

Dennis Wood August 8th, 2008 08:03 PM

The pad is in the works (next week) and is part of the handles kit. It needs to be easily removable as all of our user's use the Proteus base in "tripod" mode right now.

With our patent status now "pending", at long last the Proteus rails system is complete. We had been waiting for the pads for several weeks while several modifications were in the works for them. The shipping product is made right here in Canada from a company specializing in military pack gear. I stand to be corrected, but I believe this is the only rails system in the world that supports the range of ENG gear, flipped/non-flipped adapters, and consumer cams while allowing seamless tripod/shoulder mounting.

Chad, hope all is going well with Re:Frame this week. Apparently we were sponsoring both events :-)

Cheers,
Dennis Wood
