Solving flip issue:

1. If you use a bare 35mm adapter, without a flip unit on it, your image will go to your camera upside down. Some cameras have flip capability on their monitor, and then image itself is flipped in post. FX1 image on LCD can be flipped by placing a magnet on the camera at a point.

2. You can use a flip adapter on the unit. This produced right side up finishted image. I bought a Letus Flip attachment, and use it on my old Letus35a. I added a new achromat, and I stripped the old adapter of both the original achromat and the condenser, and image is improved. Obviously you can by new Brevis or new Letus with their flip adapters.

3. You can shoot without a flip adapter, and use a monitor with flip button, or if it doesn't have it, turn it upside down. You have to flip the final image in post.

If you don'talready own an adapter, get a Letus extreme. I'm real happy with mine.

Bugra, you may also want to try some tests shooting without an adapter, but with your iris wide-open - I've been very pleased with the shallow depth-of-field we're able to get out of our HPX-502 with a fairly standard Fujinon lens.
